SMS Group will participate in the ALUMINIUM trade fair in Düsseldorf from October 8 to 10, where it will showcase its offerings at Hall 5, Booth A34. Alongside SMS Group, its subsidiaries Hertwich Engineering, IAS, OMAV, and logistics specialist AMOVA will also be featured.
At the event, SMS Group will present its extensive range of services across logistics, melting, casting, forging, extrusion, and flat rolling of aluminum. With an emphasis on automation, digitalization, and sustainability, SMS Group positions itself as a full lifecycle partner for the aluminum industry. Visitors are invited to explore the latest advancements in cost-optimized, digitalized, and CO2-reduced aluminum production technologies.
A key element of SMS Group's participation will be the "Leading Partner Talks," where industry experts, customers, and employees will share their experiences, discussing innovations, ongoing projects, and future industry trends. One of the standout presentations will focus on the Aluminum Dynamics LLC (ADL) project, the first integrated aluminum flat rolling mill built on a greenfield site in the USA in over 60 years.
“The ADL project that we will be illustrating at ALUMINIUM is one impressive example of how we at SMS Group bring together technological innovations and sustainable production methods. This project not only drives technological progress but also paves the way for more sustainable aluminum production," says Ralf Ohrndorf, Head of Technical Sales Aluminum Rolling Mills at SMS Group. He looks forward to engaging with visitors to discuss the future of the aluminum industry.
With a focus on sustainability and innovation, SMS Group aims to continue to lead the way in developing technologies that support the aluminum industry’s evolution towards more efficient and environmentally friendly production methods.
