4th Joint Symposium for Iron and Steel Production of ISIJ, VDEh and Jernkontoret

The Joint Symposium on Iron and Steelmaking of ISIJ, VDEh and Jernkontoret is a recurring collaboration between the industrial organizations Jernkontoret, VDEh (in Germany) and ISIJ (in Japan).

The symposium is aimed at people from the iron and steel industry, universities and research institutes involved in process metallurgy.

The industry organizations take turns hosting the symposium, and in 2026 the ISIJ will host the event from 13 to 15 April in Sendai, Japan.
