Mechanical engineer Fill invests around ten million euros in "Fill Future Zone"

The internationally successful mechanical engineering company Fill has launched the next major construction project on April 1st. At the headquarters in Gurten, two office buildings and three production halls will be built in the next 14 months. On a total of 4,200 square meters, the Fill Future Zone will become the center for digitization, research and development. Around 150 new jobs will be created in the Innviertel.

"The global megatrend digitization affects almost all areas of our lives. With the construction of the Fill Future Zone at its headquarters in Gurten, Upper Austria, the company is sending a clear signal. The new building integrates a customer training center, where the company allows its business partners to share the latest insights. The Fill Future Zone is creating a high-tech center in which digitization, software development and mechanical development will be promoted. With this, Fill is taking another step into a successful future and is clearly committed to the Gurten location.

The fourth industrial revolution is in full swing. The term "Industry 4.0" is understood to mean the digitization of production. That means in concrete terms: the networking of man and machine. Countless companies worldwide are investing heavily in digitization. As an internationally successful engineering company, Fill is known for its innovative power. With the establishment of the Fill Future Zone, this position will be further expanded. A high-tech hot spot with enormous potential is being created in the middle of the Innviertel. In addition to the findings of the experts working there, the constructive exchange with business partners will also drive developments forward. "In the Fill Future Zone, several disciplines are bundled together under one roof. In this way, we are creating the prerequisite for taking advantage of the many opportunities that the digital transformation brings to business, science and society, " emphasizes Andreas Fill.
