FutureSTEEL congress discussed the future of the steel industry in Germany

This week, leading representatives from the steel industry, steel trade, energy sector and steel recycling met at the futureSTEEL Congress as part of Blechexpo in Stuttgart. The congress focussed on pioneering topics for the future of steel in Germany, particularly against the backdrop of emission-free steel production and processing.
Experts from the energy industry shed light on the prospects for future energy supply and discussed current efforts and challenges in the face of rising energy demand. The event provided insights into the efforts already being made to optimise energy consumption and switch to sustainable sources.
