Thomas Kamphausen to become new CFO of Schuler
by Hans Diederichs
Schuler AG is to get a new Chief Financial Officer. The Supervisory Board has appointed Thomas Kamphausen (56) as a member of the Executive Board of Schuler AG as of September 1, 2019. Mr. Kamphausen will take over as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer and Labour Director on the departure of Norbert Broger on November 1, 2019. He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of SSI Schäfer, a leading international logistics company based in Neunkirchen, Germany. SSI Schäfer employs over 10,500 people around the world and is regarded as a pioneer of digitalization in the procurement, storage and transport of goods for industry and commerce.
CFO Norbert Broger had already announced in spring that he would not be prolonging his current contract with Schuler in order to take on new tasks. He is leaving the company on the best of terms with CEO Domenico Iacovelli and the Supervisory Board. “We are delighted to be able to welcome Thomas Kamphausen as his successor – an internationally experienced financial expert with extensive personnel and management experience,” says CEO Iacovelli.
