Swiss Steel Group appoints new members of the Group Executive Board

Swiss Steel Holding AG today announced the appointment of three additional members to the Group Executive Board effective January 1, 2022. CEO Frank Koch explains, "The expansion of the Group Executive Board is part of the strategy and growth path that Swiss Steel Group (SSG) has started. We will significantly optimize our synergy potential on the way to becoming a leading global specialty steel producer by optimizing and bundling our market and application expertise, our innovation competence and technical know-how with this increased cooperation between Group Management and the business units."
With Jürgen Alex, Florian Geiger and Patrick Lamarque d'Arrouzat, CEO Frank Koch is supplementing his management team with CFO Markus Böning to include three experienced steel managers with a high level of expertise in SSG's core products - tool steels, stainless steels and engineering steels.
Jürgen Alex (Dipl.-Ing., DE, 1966) has held various management positions at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke since 2006. He has been CEO of SSG's largest business unit since January 2019.
Florian Geiger (Dr. rer. pol., CH and DE, 1980) has held a management position at SSG since 2013 and has been CEO of the Steeltec Business Unit with production units in Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavia and Turkey since January 2020.
Patrick Lamarque d'Arrouzat (MBA, FR, 1965) has held various management positions at Ugitech in France since 2003. Since September 2009, he has been CEO of the Ugitech business unit with several sites in France, Germany and Italy.
