Next Motek/Bondexpo in October 2021
In accordance with the exhibitor advisory board for Motek/Bondexpo 2020, trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG have decided to postpone this year’s 39th Motek international trade fair for automation in production and assembly to 2021.
This year’s Motek/Bondexpo will be postponed until next year. From the point of view of the trade fair organisers, Motek/Bondexpo could have been held from the 5th through the 8th of October 2020. “Together with all involved parties, we struggled for a long time to amend the general conditions demanded by the corona pandemic in such a way that Motek/Bondexpo 2020 could have been successful,” says Bettina Schall, managing director of P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. A hygiene and security concept was developed for safe event promotion to this end. “However, in cooperation with the exhibitor advisory board we have now decided to postpone Motek/Bondexpo 2020 until October 2021.” This decision is based on rational thinking and our sense of responsibility, emphasises Bettina Schall: “As trade fair promoters, we see ourselves as service providers for our exhibitors and expert visitors. Current uncertainties amongst exhibitors and visitors, for example with regard to travel and sending an adequate number of employees to an event, are making it necessary to look to the year 2021 with pragmatism and confidence.”
Advancing Into the Future
The fact that time is now running short also speaks in favour of postponement. For weeks, trade fair promoters and exhibitors were forced to exercise great patience due to decision-making delays on the part of the responsible authorities. But the time has now come to focus on the future: “Exhibitors and expert visitors alike should look ahead to building on the success of Motek/Bondexpo’s past industry highlights in 2021. This is why we’re now all working together on thorough, detailed planning for the upcoming year,” says Bettina Schall. The mutual decision taken by the exhibitor advisory board and the trade fair promoters to postpone Motek/Bondexpo 2020 underscores their care and foresight, as well as their consideration for the interests of the exhibitors and expert visitors. Effort is now being focused on intensive preparations for the next trade fair highlight, namely Motek/Bondexpo 2021, with the objective of getting in shape for the future. As the leading trade fair for the world of automation, Motek/Bondexpo will thus be awaited with especially great anticipation for the 5th through the 8th of October 2021 – because industrial users need practical and economical automation solutions, in particular in economically difficult times. Motek’s portfolio of products and services covering components, assemblies, subsystems and complete systems for automated production and assembly, including joining technology as an integral part of industrial manufacturing, will then be presented in the state-of-the-art, making it possible for customers to increase productivity, enhance flexibility and improve cost-effectiveness, so that they’ll be ideally equipped for future manufacturing challenges. – The next Motek/Bondexpo will take place in Stuttgart from the 5th through the 8th of October 2021.
