The route of the pipeline will run in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship by the municipalities of Sanok, Bukowsko and Komańcza.
Gaz-System opened offers in the proceeding on January 8, 2019. The most beneficial was the proposal of a consortium of Izostal and Stalprofil, which amounts to PLN 33.09 million net and PLN 40.702 million gross (9,48 million Euros). The supply of pipes for a 19-kilometer section of the gas pipeline with a diameter of (DN) 1000 mm is to be implemented between 1 June and 30 September 2019.
The largest expansion of the gas transmission system is currently taking place in the Polish history. Only in 2018-2020 it is to absorb nearly PLN 8 billion (1,86 billion Euros).
The further development of the national transmission network, including the creation of new gas pipelines within the North-South gas corridor, as well as the construction of interconnectors with Lithuania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, are to make an important contribution to the development of the European transmission system.
Pipes from the recently settled tender are to be used to build a gas connection between Poland and Slovakia, which are jointly implemented by the Polish Gaz-System and the Slovak Eustream. On the Polish side, the gas pipeline is to be 59 km long, diameter 1000 mm and working pressure 8.4 MPa.
