Norwegian Steel Construction Award 2019: Proposal for candidates about to close

The Norwegian Steel Construction Award was first awarded in 1991 and went to the beach, Aker Brygge. The Norwegian Steel Association and the Norwegian Association for Steel Structures are behind the price competition held every other year. The winning proposal is presented at Norsk Ståldag 31 October. The last time the prize was awarded was in 2017 and it then went to Bumerang bridge and Jungelbru.
The winners have kept a very high standard, and the prize has therefore received the necessary prestige which is important for the price and for the steel environment. Similar steel construction prices exist in most European countries, and national winners participate in a European price competition. The award consists of a diploma awarded to the client, the architect, the consulting engineer and the steel contractor. The jury consists of representatives from the Norwegian Association of Architects' Association (NAL), the RIF organization for advisors, the Norwegian Association for Steel Structures (NFS) and the Norwegian Steel Group. Everyone submitting one or more suggestions to candidates you believe in can claim the competition. Proposal for a candidate must have received us no later than 15 April 2019!
The Norwegian Architectural Students' Steel Award was first awarded in 2005 and went to Anders Espen Bærheim at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design for the project "P (t) ower of the Rings". Last time in 2017, the award was awarded to Anders Haagaas Grinde for the project "FISH, a land based salmon farm in Oslo".
The competition contribution can be made by a single student or by a student group of up to two people. The competition contribution can be a semester assignment, a main project or another type of assignment. The material must be prepared in the last two years.
