New PSIpenta 9.3 ERP System for KÖNIG + CO. GmbH

The PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH has been contracted by the KÖNIG + CO. GmbH with implementing the PSIpenta Version 9.3 ERP system. By replacing a fragmented solution architecture, the core business processes will be mapped in a holistic ERP system in the future.

The delivery of the ERP standard PSIpenta 9.3 includes 70 users in a multi-site network from two plants in Netphen and Haiger providing not only order management but also the additional modules quality management, warehouse management and cost accounting with interface to the existing financial accounting solution.

In the MES area, PSIpenta shop floor data and work time collection will be used for 250 employees. In addition to a comprehensive reporting solution including pre-configured data cubes for sales, purchasing and production, the complex requirements in product configuration will in future be fulfilled using the integrated solution ACBIS ePOS.

KÖNIG + CO aims to implement "learning processes". This should dramatically reduce the reaction time of the sales department and thus further increase the number of business transactions. The company has chosen the PSIpenta suite because of its technical quality features and the high investment security. In addition, PSI Automotive & Industry was able to convince with its industry experience in contract manufacturing in metal processing.

With some 250 employees, KÖNIG + CO. GmbH produces heads, welded constructions and special pressed parts as customized production or in small series at two locations in Germany and supplies these worldwide to the most diverse industries.
