Metalworking trade fair EMO Hannover is on track

By 1 December of this year, 1,780 exhibitors from 41 countries had registered for the upcoming EMO Hannover 2019. Anyone who has already registered is shown on the online exhibitor directory at www.emo-hannover.de.

"We are delighted with the fantastic response that EMO Hannover, as the world's leading trade fair for metalworking, has received from all sides," says EMO Commissioner-General Carl-Martin Welcker. "The list of exhibitors shows a clear plus compared to last EMO and already reads like the who is who of the international machine tool industry," he continues.

Market leaders in all areas of technology, such as DMG Mori, FFG, Mazak, Siemens, Grob, Doosan, Fanuc, Okuma, Makino, Index, GF Machining Solutions, Chiron, Trumpf, SLM, Stratasys, Paul Horn, Iscar, Sandvik, Kuka, are among them and many, many more. Every day new companies are added. Commissioner General Welcker: "It is also gratifying that many exhibitors have enlarged their booth areas and are thus even more representative than last time."

From the 16th to the 21st of September the EMO Hannover 2019 will be held under the motto Smart technologies driving tomorrow's production! instead of. A new exhibition area IoT in production underlines its claim to position itself as a platform for networking in production. Dr. Wilfried Schäfer, Managing Director of EMO organizer VDW (Verein Deutscher Werkzeugmaschinenfabriken), explains: "IoT in production provides a complete overview of the key aspects of networking, including data security, data analysis, process monitoring, predictive maintenance, Smart Data Management and much more "
