Messe Düsseldorf expands metal trade fair portfolio in Egypt

Messe Düsseldorf is expanding its portfolio of metal fairs in 2023 with an investment deal in Cairo/Egypt.

As part of METAL & STEEL EGYPT, the four trade fairs GIFA Middle East Africa, METEC Middle East Africa, wire Middle East Africa and Tube Middle East Africa will be held for the first time as a special section at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from 2 to 4 September 2023.

METAL & STEEL EGYPT, organised by AGEX (Arabian German Exhibitions & Publishing Ltd), has been presenting a wide range of machinery, equipment and products from the steel and metal industry for the Middle East since 2010.

"We are very much looking forward to the partnership with AGEX and are sure that our quartet of metal fairs will offer profitable synergies for all sides", say Daniel Ryfisch and Malte Seifert, Directors of the trade fairs wire, Tube, GIFA and METEC at the Düsseldorf location.

The leading Egyptian organiser AGEX has been successfully organising trade fairs and conferences in the region since 2004 and is distinguished by its special expertise in the industrial sector. With this cooperation, he and Messe Düsseldorf are pooling their expertise.
