ITA Conference in Düsseldorf on April 10
by David Fleschen
Tube and pipe industry experts from around the world are meeting once again for a major conference at the Congress Center (CCD South) at the Düsseldorf trade fair grounds (Messe Düsseldorf) on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
This significant event is being organized for the second time by the only global personal membership association for the tube & pipe industries, the ITA (International Tube Association). This time under the heading, Trend-setting Technologies and Strategies for Tubes & Pipes, it wants to bring together key players in the tube industry to share expertise and compare challenges. Experts from exhibiting companies will present papers and provide information on tech developments and the latest market trends. The presentations at this world-class venue will focus on trendsetting technologies and strategies in areas such as material properties, value adding processes, or special requirements and solutions for specific markets.
The one-day conference is to be accompanied by a foyer exhibition and will present numerous opportunities for networking. An evening networking event has been organized in the Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht. The traditional German venue, located in the idyllic Düsseldorf suburb of Niederkassel, serves hearty local cuisine and house brewed beer, all in an atmosphere of real Rhineland hospitality.
In addition, on April 11, 2019, participants will be offered a plant tour at the SMS group GmbH in nearby Mönchengladbach. The SMS group’s new family member, the business unit “Digital Solutions”, will demonstrate the test center and the new powder atomization plant.
There will be a small charge of €25 to help cover transport costs; tour participants are requested to meet at 9 a.m. outside the Center (CCD South), opposite car park 5 (P5). For further information and booking, visit www.conference.itatube.org.
