In first 3 months of 2021, shipments of EU SSC rise by 2,8%

In first 3 months of 2021, shipments of EU27 + UK SSC did rise by 2,8% in a year-on-year comparison.
In March of 2021 compared to March 2020, Strip Mill Products shipments did rise by 21,7%, year-on-year, compared with -1,7% for the month of February.
When expressed in days of shipments, stocks at EU SSC reached 57 days in March 2021, compared to 76 days in March 2020.
For March 2021, the index of stock volumes did drop and noted at index 83, to be compared with index 91 in March 2020 (average 2018 = index 100).
EU Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution
In the first 3 months of 2021, EU27 + UK Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution registered lower shipments for all Long products and higher shipments for Strip Mill Products, Tubular Products and Stainless Steel.
As a matter of fact, during the first 3 months of 2021, total shipments dropped only by -0,2 %, year-on-year.

March of 2021 compared to March 2020, “Total Steel Products” shipments increased, year-on-year by 8,6%. Only Rebars had a negative trend.
Stock volumes index of EU27 + UK Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution registered at 76 in March 2021, to be compared to a significantly higher index of 84 one year before (average 2018 =Index 100).
When expressed in days of shipments, stock volumes leveled in March 2021 at 54 days of shipments, compared to 65 days in March 2020.
