In first 11 months of 2021, shipments of EU SSC rise by 9,3%

In November of 2021 compared to November 2020, Strip Mill Products shipments did drop by -8,1%, year-on-year, compared with a drop of -12,0% for the month of October.
When expressed in days of shipments, stocks at EU SSC reached 64 days in November 2021, compared to 57 days in November 2020.
For November 2021, the index of stock volumes did rise and noted at index 86, to be compared with index 78 in November 2020 (average 2018 = index 100).
In the first 11 months of 2021, EU27 + UK Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution only Rebars and Merchant Bars registered lower shipments. All other products had a positive run.
As a matter of fact, during the first 11 months of 2021, total shipments increased by 5,2 %, year-on-year.
November of 2021 compared to November 2020, “Total Steel Products” shipments decreased, year-on-year by -7,7%. All products had a negative trend, except Plates, Rebars, Tubular Products, Stainless Steel and Other Alloy Steels.
Stock volumes index of EU27 + UK Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution registered at 87 in November 2021, to be compared to a lower index of 80 one year before (average 2018 =Index 100).
When expressed in days of shipments, stock volumes leveled in November 2021 at 78 days of shipments, compared to 67 days in November 2020.
