Hanza signs manufacturing agreement with German company

Hanza, a global contract manufacturer specializing in supply chain optimization, has signed a manufacturing agreement with a German company to streamline the supply chain for an entire product line.

As part of the agreement, Hanza will develop a new, more efficient supply chain. This involves consolidating parts production within the Hanza Group and transferring the company's existing manufacturing operations to Hanza’s manufacturing cluster.

The manufacturing solution, based on Hanza's MIG™ concept, is designed to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and offer greater flexibility in response to fluctuating demand.

“This partnership demonstrates Hanza’s capability to provide comprehensive value to product-owning companies,” said Erik Stenfors, CEO of Hanza Group. “By utilizing our MIG™ concept, we create a robust, cost-efficient, and sustainable supply chain.”

The relocation of manufacturing from Germany and the optimization of the supply chain will begin immediately, with initial deliveries expected in autumn 2024. The new manufacturing setup will be based in Hanza's Central European cluster, with production volume anticipated to generate annual sales exceeding 10 million euros at full capacity.
