EuroBLECH 2024: BLM GROUP presents latest advancements in profile processing

At EuroBLECH 2024, BLM GROUP is presenting its latest advancements in tube, sheet metal, and 3D metal profile processing technologies, showcasing a range of innovative machines and software solutions at Hall 13, booth E182.

EuroBLECH, the world's leading trade fair for sheet metal working technology, attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the globe to explore cutting-edge solutions for the sheet metal processing industry. The event serves as a platform for the introduction of innovations in automation, digitalization, and production optimization.

Among the highlights from BLM GROUP is the ELECT150, a fully electric tube bending machine that can handle tubes up to 150 mm in diameter. With the option to bend left or right, the machine utilizes the VGPNext programming software to achieve complex bends with precision and excellent surface quality. At the booth, the machine demonstrates its capabilities by bending a 110 mm diameter tube with a centerline radius of just 90 mm.

The LT7, another featured machine, is an advanced tube laser from BLM’s Lasertube family. It is fully automated and processes tubes with diameters from 12 mm to 152 mm, automatically adjusting settings for different tube sizes and handling both standard and open profiles. The LT7 being showcased is equipped with a threading unit that inserts threaded inserts into tubes, simplifying the production process by eliminating manual handling between steps. Additionally, a robot at the booth handles sorting and unloading of parts.

The LT-FREE 5-axis 3D laser cutting system is designed for processing three-dimensional metal profiles for various industries, including automotive, electric vehicles, and machinery manufacturing. This machine features a large work area for processing stamped sheet metal and includes a robot for handling hydroformed tubes and other components in one operation.

BLM GROUP is also highlighting its software solutions that complement its machinery:

• VGPNext, a user-friendly 3D programming tool for tube and wire bending machines.
