Dr. Florian Geiger becomes the new CEO of Steeltec

Change at the top of Steeltec: On January 1, 2020, Dr. Ing. Florian Geiger as the new CEO of the bright steel producer. The doctor of business administration takes over the office from Gerd Münch, who successfully ran the company of the SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group for 14 years and now leaves at his own request.
Until 2013, Dr. Florian Geiger works as a management consultant in the area of increasing efficiency at international companies. He then moved to the SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group, where he was Vice President Business Development for strategic projects and Mergers & Acquisitions. Dr. Geiger is optimally networked within the SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group and has extensive experience in the area of efficiency improvement and performance management. Geiger can now use this knowledge as CEO of Steeltec.
The previous CEO, Gerd Münch, is leaving Steeltec on 31 December 2019 at his own request. He worked for Steeltec for a total of 28 years, including 14 years as Chairman of Steeltec AG. During this time, he has successively expanded the company into one of the leading specialty blank steel manufacturers in Europe. His services to the group are considered exceptional and continue to be groundbreaking for the coming years. "Gerd Münch did a great job for Steeltec. He has always guided the company with great care and foresight, never shying away from new paths and ambitious goals, and thus laid the foundation for the positive development of the company, "Dr. Florian Geiger.
