Chris Edkins appointed head of North America at Cremer Erzkontor

Effective January 1, 2025, Chris Edkins will assume the role of Head of North America at CREMER ERZKONTOR, a northern German end-to-end supplier of raw materials. In this capacity, he will oversee the company’s operations in the USA and Canada and join the international management team.

Edkins joined CREMER ERZKONTOR nearly a year ago as Managing Director for the USA. Since then, he has played a key role in developing the team and driving business growth in the region.

“Chris Edkins brings deep knowledge of the American market and a wealth of experience in sales and business management,” said Roberto Wurst, Executive Director of CREMER ERZKONTOR. “His expertise is perfectly aligned with our strategic goals for North America. He will play a pivotal role in expanding our raw materials trade and enhancing our business in chemical raw materials.”

Edkins will succeed Niklas Lüdemann, who will transition to the newly created position of Head of Business Development starting in January. Lüdemann, who began his career at CREMER ERZKONTOR, will shift from an operational role to a strategic one. In his new position, he will oversee the cross-country development of new business areas, a central component of the company’s Road#2029 strategy.
