CastForge postponed until June 2021
by Hans Diederichs
Messe Stuttgart is postponing CastForge 2020, Trade Fair for Castings and Forgings with Processing. This is due to the increasing prevalence of the new coronavirus and the enactment of the related legal ordinance on infection protection measures (Corona Ordinance) by the Baden-Württemberg State Government. CastForge is therefore being postponed until 8 to 10 June 2021. The Trade Fair for Castings and Forgings with Processing will then be held concurrently with Moulding Expo, International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making. The parallel trade fair holds out the promise of attractive synergy effects both for visitors and exhibitors.
"The health of everyone has top priority and we can offer planning security to exhibitors, visitors and all partners thanks to the official legal ordinance," said Thomas Walter, Vice President Industry & Technology and a member of the Board of Management of Messe Stuttgart. "Our objective is now to directly start all over again and stage a successful trade fair in 2021," emphasised Walter.
