Asiamold Select – Guangzhou 2025 connects south China's mould industry
by David Fleschen
Asiamold Select – Guangzhou, a premier event in China's mould and die manufacturing sector, will return to the China Import and Export Fair Complex from 25 – 27 February 2025. The exhibition aims to bring together a diverse group of manufacturers, industry specialists, and stakeholders to share advancements and drive collaboration across the region's production and prototyping landscape.
Celebrating almost two decades of industry engagement, the 2025 edition will span 70,000 square meters, offering a comprehensive platform for businesses in South China’s manufacturing hub. Co-located with SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou and Guangzhou Industrial Technology, the event promises to address the needs of the rapidly evolving manufacturing market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area).
Despite covering just 0.6% of China’s landmass, the Greater Bay Area significantly contributes to the national economy, accounting for approximately one-ninth of China's GDP. The region's economic prominence is attributed to its dense network of industrial clusters, with Guangdong Province hosting the largest concentration of manufacturing enterprises in the country.
Moulding, a critical component of the manufacturing industry, serves essential sectors such as automotive, electronics, and machinery. The Greater Bay Area's high demand for precision moulds has fostered a thriving ecosystem of manufacturers and technology providers, positioning the event as a vital meeting point for stakeholders seeking to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Key Exhibitors and Additive Manufacturing Innovations
The 2025 edition will feature prominent moulding and additive manufacturing (AM) companies, including Andefeer, Huangchuang, Kingrui, LRibond Coating, NaiKeTai, Runke, SEAL, Seetom, Tenghongjie Metal, Vacotech, Yalu Industry, Zhong Da Xiang Plastic Mould, and others. Reflecting the growing integration of AM technologies in mould making, exhibitors will showcase advancements that support both rapid prototyping and the direct production of mould components, offering greater design flexibility and production efficiency.
Highlighting the strategic location of the event, Mr. Wei Chuanqi, Product Planning Manager at Flashforge, shared insights from the 2024 edition: “Guangzhou’s manufacturing capabilities make it an ideal venue. We consistently attract a targeted audience, with buyers from Hong Kong, Hungary, and North America visiting with clear business objectives.”
First-time participant Mr. Cui Dechao, Vice General Manager at Shenzhen Deruite Mold Steel Company, emphasized the event’s business potential: “Our clients recommended Asiamold Select – Guangzhou as we entered the local market. We engaged with numerous domestic and international clients, and explored collaborations with top mould manufacturers.”
