by David Fleschen
Antritz, an international technology group, has announced its plans to modernize the electrical and automation systems at voestalpine’s hot-dip galvanizing line in Linz, Austria. This line, which has been operational since 1973, produces high-quality galvanized steel strips and has undergone several upgrades over the decades.
The modernization project aims to streamline the current array of electrical and automation systems, replacing them with a unified, user-friendly solution designed to enhance operational efficiency. To ensure minimal disruption to production, the implementation will be carried out in multiple stages, with the project slated for completion by the end of 2028.
